A list of texts is passed to the constructor. A signal mapper is constructed and for each text in the list a QPushButton is created. We connect each button's clicked() signal to the signal mapper's map() slot, and create a mapping in the signal mapper from each button to the button's text. My app, consists in 2 different object (QObject and QMainWIndow), and I am wondering how to communicate between them with SLOT/SIGNAL. Moreover, does existing better approach ? The remaining functions are qRound() and qRound64(), which both accept a double or float value as their argument returning the value rounded up to the nearest integer and 64-bit integer respectively, the qInstallMessageHandler() function which installs the given QtMessageHandler, and the qVersion() function which returns the version number of Qt at run-time as a string.
